ABOUT COMMUNITY CONCERTS
Our weekly Community Concerts feature our talented performing ensembles. These concerts are now offered in person at the Eric Martin Pavilion Theatre. Refreshments and snacks are provided. See the concert schedule below for performers and dates. In addition, we host Sunday Open Mic (same location), which is a popular weekly community concert open to all. FOM Music Society is always active in the community, offering indoor and outdoor concerts to local Mental Health Housing sites, care homes, and performing at other popular community events like Lights of Wonder, Victoria Day Parade, Royal Victoria Marathon, TC10K, and the Oak Bay Tea Party. These offerings spread joy through music and give our members valued performance opportunities.

about special events
We offer 3 large special events per year: The Concert in the Park, the Christmas Dinner & Dance at Da Vinci Centre, and our Halloween Special Event. Check our homepage, newsletter, or our social media for announcements about upcoming Special Events.
- Concert In the Park is one of our largest outdoor annual Special Events and takes place at Cameron Bandshell in Beacon Hill Park during the month of June. For this event, we invite our members, friends, supporters and residents of local Mental Health Housing Sites to attend. We offer food, refreshments and cake.
- Christmas Dinner & Dance – Is a Special Event put on for our very special guests, the residents of local mental health housing sites. The event is typically held at the Da Vinci Centre, offering a turkey dinner buffet, live music with 4-5 FOM Music Society performing ensembles, dancing, and prize raffles.
